This is an exciting time for NHSGGC, as we implement our new ambitious Transforming Together strategy to support health & Social Care Reform. Within the Corporate Planning Team we have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Head of the Programme Management Office.
This role will provide the post-holder with a unique opportunity to lead the PMO function to support a number of high-profile programmes, including the ‘Transforming Together’ Programme and the ‘GGC Way Forward’ Programme. The post holder will also be directly responsible for the monitoring of the Board’s Annual Delivery Plan and Winter Plan.
The post-holder lead the PMO team, and will develop the GGC Programme management governance framework for transformation programmes.
The post-holder will be required to work autonomously in the role. Highly developed interpersonal skills are a key requirement as the post-holder will be expected to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with Executives, clinicians and other senior managers and teams at all levels of hierarchy.
You must have proven experience of running a PMO or project function, as a highly organised individual you will have a demonstrable track record of success in a PMO or project role.
