Job Title: Facilities Manager Location: Littlemore Mental Health Centre – OX4 4XN Trust: Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust Band/Pay rate: Band 7 -£27.01 per hour Hours: 37.5hrs – Mon-Fri (Apply online only) Full driving licence required – role involves travelling between Trust sites. THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE for initially 3 months Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you'll be a vital part of a busy Facilities team? We seeking a motivated and organised individual to fill the position of Facilities Manager across various sites. The successful candidate will fulfill a crucial role in fostering excellent communication and working relationships with all staff in clinical and non clinical teams Key Responsibilities: * Managing the Administration Team, Porters, Post Porter, Drivers, Domestics, Hairdresser and Health Centre Co-ordinators to ensure the continuous delivery of comprehensive services, including recruitment, appraisals, disciplinary and grievance issues, training and development, sickness absence monitoring. * Manage staff accommodation in accordance with the Housing Act and Trust procedures and be responsible for addressing improper use of accommodation services, complaints and landlord requests relating to evictions. * Be responsible for ensuring that all contracted services provide quality services in accordance with agreed specifications and legislation to achieve best value for the Trust within financial limitations. And in turn take appropriate action if contractor fails to meet their obligations as per the contract specification. * Oversee procurement of contracts which includes preparation of documentation for re-tendering, writing of contract specifications and awarding contracts. Full JD available on request. Person Specification: * Managerial experience within a similar role * Extensive knowledge and understanding of soft facilities management. * Full UK drivers licence and the willingness to travel to various sites within the group.
