Responsibilities
* Provide efficient support for barista and food service throughout the day across UEA Catering Services (The Campus Kitchen).
* Assist with preparation and service of food and drinks, delivered catering, and keeping outlets clean and tidy.
* Assist at a variety of functions and events as needed.
* Operate in any of the university’s 14 outlets, mainly in Unio, and contribute to smooth service and high food standards.
* Interact with customers or work behind the scenes as part of delivering exceptional experiences.
Qualifications and requirements
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service focus.
* Enthusiasm and willingness to support colleagues.
* Previous experience in a catering environment is beneficial but not essential; full training and coaching will be provided.
* Shift patterns include a mix of weekday and weekend daytime and evening shifts to suit business needs.
* This is a full-time, University term-time only (30 weeks per year) post available immediately on an indefinite basis.

Salary on appointment will be £23,350 per annum (pro rata), equivalent to £12.38 per hour. Based in The Hive at the heart of campus, Unio serves students and staff as part of The Campus Kitchen brand.
