The Nelson Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Women’s Recovery Coordinator to join our team in Salisbury. In partnership with Connect, we provide holistic, gender‑responsive community support to women experiencing substance misuse and additional complex needs. Our approach ensures every woman receives high‑quality care, tailored interventions, and the support needed to work towards meaningful recovery. Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum Annual leave: 25 days per annum plus bank holidays Pension: 6% employer contribution About the Role As a Women’s Recovery Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting women experiencing multiple and complex disadvantages. You’ll manage a caseload of women, offering person‑centred interventions, practical guidance, and motivational recovery planning to help them achieve their goals. What You’ll Be Doing Providing 1:1 key‑working support around practical needs such as finances, housing, and employment Completing comprehensive needs assessments across nine life domains Creating and delivering strength‑based, personalised recovery plans Working collaboratively with voluntary, statutory, and criminal justice agencies Facilitating bespoke interventions in both group and individual settings Ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met and upheld Monitoring recovery progress and maintaining accurate records in line with policy What We’re Looking For At least2 years’ experience supporting women with multiple complex needs Strong organisational and time‑management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of substance misuse interventions and motivational interviewing Confidence working both independently and as part of a wider team A full driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel Important Information Due to the nature of the work carried out in our Women’s Centres, this role is restricted to female applicants only, in line with the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1).
