About the role of Quantity Surveyor: Opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work for a specialist contractor aiming to bring elevated craftsmanship to the worlds most prestigious residential spaces. They collaborate with high profile clients globally to craft distinctive kitchens, dressing rooms, and joinery for private homes. With headquarters in London and studios in New York and Vienna, this role may occasionally involve international travel but mainly office based with work from home opportunities. Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor: Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts. Ensuring a projects financial success by overseeing budgets, contracts, procurement, and risk Strategic link between financial team and operations Negotiating, drafting, and managing complex contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance Exploring new opportunities, preparing bids, and contributing to growth strategies Monitor costs during construction phase - manage payments, address variations, and handle contractual issues Ensure full compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards Requirements for Quantity Surveyor: Fit out experience and a quantity surveying degree, RICS or equivalent qualification. Experience with forecasting, cost control and cost reporting JCT contract expertise with legal understanding of contract law Good communication and leadership skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships. German speaking would be a beneficial, but not essential.
