At Cafcass, we’re recruiting Children's Social Workers – professionally known as Family Court Advisers (FCAs) – who share our passion for facilitating positive outcomes for children involved in private and public law family court proceedings.
As an FCA, you will:
* Complete high‑quality assessments, engaging directly with children to understand their experiences, wishes and feelings and ensuring these are clearly and powerfully represented in family court.
* Apply your expertise in risk assessment, analysis and mediation, advocating for solutions that place the child’s safety, well‑being and long‑term interests at the centre of decision‑making.
* Work with adults, local authorities and a wide range of professionals to resolve complex issues and influence better outcomes for children.
* Support children and families in a variety of settings – including the office in Coventry, home visits, courts, schools and other safe locations – using high‑quality technology.
* Participate in shared learning, team meetings, group supervision and regular one‑to‑one sessions with your manager.
How we support you

* Training and resources: Access to specialist guidance, a vast library of social‑work resources and ongoing professional development.
