The Union Housing Scheme supports adults with severe and enduring mental health needs, providing a stable, supportive environment where people can grow in confidence, develop independence and feel part of their community. You will: • Work with people to assess needs and plan with them to achieve positive outcomes • Encourage independence and daily living skills • Monitor wellbeing and risks, escalating concerns appropriately • Support as needed with budgeting, medication and routine household tasks • Keep accurate records and work effectively as part of a small team The role focuses on support rather than personal care. We welcome applicants with experience in mental health, social care or supportive roles. You will need: • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Experience assessing needs or supporting people in distress • Level 3 Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) • A full UK driving licence and vehicle access This is a 24 hour service, and you will work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep ins, across a variety of premises in the Halifax area.
