This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in social housing, property services, or general contracting, looking to take on a strategic leadership role within a growing organisation delivering maintenance, refurbishment and construction projects across the UK.

Commercial Lead Job Description:
As Commercial Lead, you will take responsibility for the overall commercial performance of multiple contracts and programmes, ensuring projects are delivered profitably while maintaining strong client relationships.
You will work closely with operational leaders and senior management to drive commercial strategy while leading and developing a team of commercial professionals.
Commercial Lead Key Responsibilities:
* Provide commercial leadership across multiple maintenance, refurbishment and construction contracts.
* Manage and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff.
* Oversee cost management, valuations, CVRs, forecasting and financial reporting.
* Ensure robust contract administration and risk management across all projects.
* Work closely with operational teams to drive profitability and commercial performance.
* Support tendering, pricing strategies and bid submissions for new work.
* Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with contract conditions, governance processes and industry standards.
Commercial Lead Candidate Criteria:
We are looking for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in social housing, property services, refurbishment or general contracting.
You will ideally have:
* Proven experience in a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Lead role.
* Experience working within social housing maintenance, refurbishment, property services or general main contracting environments.
* Experience managing multi-million pound contracts or frameworks.
* Strong leadership experience managing commercial teams.
* Excellent negotiation, financial management and stakeholder management skills.
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar (or equivalent experience).
