At Biocair, our drivers are a truly vital part of our organisation. This is not just any driver role; it is a crucial position where your work impacts lives. You will transport time-critical and temperature-sensitive consignments, such as medicines or samples, safely and promptly, with a focus on customer care. This role is busy and fast-paced, with customer service at its core.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring all shipment documentation is accurately completed and processed.
* Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse, with proper storage and temperature checks, and accurate records.
* Reporting stock shortfalls and maintaining storage logs with 100% accuracy.
* Keeping vehicles clean and performing regular maintenance checks.
* Building positive relationships with colleagues and clients to ensure excellent communication and service, proactively solving problems and improving processes.

Key competencies required:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Valid full Category B driving license (max 3 points)
* Experience driving commercial vans (Mercedes Sprinter, Vito, Maxus eDeliver9, or similar)
* Confidence in manual transmission driving
* Ability to work under time pressure and maintain accurate documentation
* Experience in cold chain, time-sensitive freight, or pharmaceutical logistics is desirable
* Resilience, teamwork, and relationship-building skills

* Competitive salary up to £28,222 per annum, depending on experience

This is a full-time role, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, shifts between 04:00 and 18:00, based onsite at London Heathrow. Applications close on Tuesday, 13th May 2025.
