Head of reservations
Location: Midsummer House, Midsummer Common, Cambridge CB4 1HA
Salary: Up to£33,000 per annum (DOE )
Days/ Working Hours:
* Tuesday: 6 hours (office-based)
* Wednesday–Saturday: 9:00am–9:00pm (split between office based duties and restaurant hostess duties)
Holiday: 5 weeks holiday (inclusive of 2 weeks over Christmas, 1 week in spring and 2 weeks in summer)

SUMMARY OF POSITION
We can offer a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Reservations, especially for someone passionate about fine dining and customer service. The role involves not only supporting the Restaurant Manager but also working as part of a team to maintain first class service, which would be great for anyone wanting to expand their skills in the hospitality industry.
We offer on the job training and mentoring, as well as showcasing the high standards expected, showing our guest that value quality both in food and in service.
The primary focus of this role is guest experience and guest relations, while also managing and overseeing all aspects of reservations and supporting administration across departments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Guest relations, pre & post visit
* Reservations administration, including email and telephone systems
* Wine and kitchen administration
* Event planning and support
* General administration
* Service Duties including front of house meeting and greeting and an eye for detail on the general presentation of the restaurant
* Finance support and systems for any other areas of the business
