We have exciting opportunities for Racking Skilled Operators to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe - Redruth.
We are looking for a motivated candidate to support our operations and uphold our commitment to quality, safety, and excellence.
Key Information
* Competitive Rates of Pay
* Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
* Shift: Monday to Friday
* Hours: 05:30 am - 14:30 pm
As a Skilled Operator, You Will
* Grade, refrigerate, and accurately record bacon to meet company and customer specifications.
* Help identify problems and suggest practical solutions to improve operations.
* Follow instructions for safe and efficient use of materials and handling practices.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Hygiene standards.
* Keep the work area clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out manual tasks and meet production deadlines.
* Operate machinery for product movement and grading.
* Monitor product specs and identify any anomalies.
* Transport completed trays and waste using conveyors and trolleys.
* Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Skills & Knowledge
* Manual handling
* Basic H&S and Food Safety Awareness
* Strong teamwork & problem-solving skills
* Quality-focused and detail-oriented
Desirable Qualifications
* H&S and Food Safety certification
* Awareness of SSOW (Safe Systems of Work)
* Experience in production environments
