An SEN Teacher is needed in a Mixed Independent SEN Secondary School in South London.
This SEN Teacher position will be full time and long term.
The team are ideally seeking an experienced SEN Teacher that would like to take on TLR as a Head of Nurture.
Some of your main responsibilities as an SEN Teacher would include:
5. Providing effective leadership to the Nurture Faculty, ensuring a positive and collaborative team culture.
6. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the faculty, including pupils' progress, staff management and resource allocation.
7. Ensuring that the agreed curriculum for the Nurture Pathway is effectively implemented to address the unique needs of students within Faculty.
8. Collaborating with teaching staff to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
9. Implementing strategies to support the emotional and social development of students, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
10. Developing and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum.
11. Assessing and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback.
12. Creating a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
13. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational programmes and share best practices.
14. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance.
15. Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behaviour.
16. Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and practices.
The rates of pay for this SEN Teacher role will be between £150 and £225 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

A Mixed Independent SEN School for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Croydon.
The school rated 'Outstanding' in all areas but Ofsted.
Academic, behavioural, therapeutic and vocational needs are the main areas of focus when teaching the pupils.
Pupils at the school have been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, GD, PMLD SEMH and SLCD.
Requirements
Applications are welcome if you're a recently qualified SEN Teacher or experienced SEN Teacher.
You're also welcome to apply if you're a British trained SEN Teacher or overseas trained SEN Teacher.
