In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead, support, and develop a team delivering person-centred care and high-quality service to the People We Support.
Responsibilities
* Lead and guide a team to provide exceptional quality service to the People We Support.
* Deliver care that reflects best practices, legislative requirements, and our policies, procedures, and agreed standards to support Glassmoon Services' purpose.
* Actively engage with and support individuals to learn, maintain skills, pursue personal interests, and provide unique person-centred care aligned with our person-led support delivery model.
* Update and maintain support plans to the required standard, and provide guidance to colleagues in completing their own.
* Act as the primary source of information from your team regarding changes in the needs of the People We Support; promptly report these to the Registered Manager and Multi-Disciplinary Team.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to maximise opportunities for the People We Support.
* If desired by the Person We Support, nurture and develop relationships with their family, friends, and other significant individuals in their life.
* Exemplify leadership by being a role model who inspires and supports all colleagues.
* Supervise the team to ensure that required standards are met in accordance with best practices, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
* Ensure all team members receive regular one-on-one meetings, annual reviews, and additional support through the Supporting Personal Growth and Potential (SPG&P) processes.
* Support and supervise colleagues to ensure they fulfil their responsibilities to meet the needs of the People We Support.
* Promote infection control and maintain the cleanliness of the service.

Qualifications
* Hold a Level 2 Adult Care Worker or equivalent qualification; prepared to work towards Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker
* Right to Work in the UK
* Satisfactory Criminal Records Checks
* References
* ID & Address check
* Driver preferred
* Level 2 entry pay: £14.10 per hour
