Position: SEN Teacher (Full-time or Part-time opportunities available)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS – dependent on experience)
The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. You will be responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs, while creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
You will work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure each child receives the best possible support and opportunities to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons
Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN needs
Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
Work collaboratively with support staff and parents/carers
Implement and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service – essential
Proven or transferable experience working with SEN pupils
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
