The Role
We are seeking an Infrastructure Solutions Sales Specialist to act as a domain expert in the value‑added resale of infrastructure technologies and solutions. This role is designed to accelerate new business growth through a land‑and‑expand strategy while operating as a specialist sales overlay to drive deeper penetration and increased share of wallet across existing customers.
The specialist will focus on driving product‑led infrastructure sales, enhanced by high‑value service attach opportunities, including integration, consulting, training, and solution bundling, tailored to solve specific customer challenges and maximise commercial value.
What you’ll be doing:
* Identifying new infrastructure led business opportunities through proactive research, networking, partner engagement, cold outreach, referrals, and self generated channels
* Owning and progressing profitable opportunities through the full sales lifecycle, from qualification to close
* Acting as a specialist overlay, supporting account managers by shaping solution led infrastructure proposals
* Building trusted relationships with senior technical and commercial decision makers within both new and existing customer accounts
* Championing the value of Ekco’s infrastructure solutions and associated services, including integration, managed services, consulting, and lifecycle support
* Driving service attach and bundled solutions to increase deal value and customer outcomes
* Acting as the primary point of contact for customers within your specialist portfolio, ensuring infrastructure requirements fully understood and met
What we’re looking for:
* Proven success in new business development or solution selling within infrastructure technologies (e.g. data centre, hybrid cloud, compute, storage, networking)
* Strong understanding of solution‑based and value‑led selling, with experience following structured sales methodologies
* Demonstrable experience growing revenue through existing customer expansion and new customer acquisition
* Commercially astute, with the ability to clearly articulate technical and financial value to customers
* Confident operating as a specialist sales overlay, collaborating effectively with core sales and technical teams
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities at all organisational levels
* Strategic and structured approach to account development, pipeline management, and opportunity progression
* Proactive, resilient, and self‑motivated mindset, with strong attention to detail
* Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned to wider business growth ambitions
* Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with infrastructure market trends and technologies
