Job overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, adaptable and conscientious registered Pharmacy Technician with ACT to join our team.
We are a department committed to the extended role of Technicians, and you will be encouraged to develop your skills in all aspects of hospital pharmacy practice in our busy department.
Medicines Management Systems are highly integrated into electronic IT systems. Pharmacy Technicians are involved in “at the bedside clinical services”, PODs, medicines reconciliation and one-stop dispensing.
Main duties of the job
To provide staff support, training, management and guidance under the direction of a senior member of staff.
Dispensing, medicines supply and accuracy checking of:
* Inpatient and outpatient medicines
* Clinical trial medicines
* Patient counselling
