Accountabilities
* Responsible for management of strategic Aluminium (Extrusions) suppliers.
* Accountable and responsible for delivering MFT projects on Time, Cost, and Quality, either under his/her leadership in the MFT or delegated from the MFT leader (PMMA).
* Ensures end-to-end management of the Aluminium ConBid Process, which controls demand and production of aluminium across Airbus's supply chain.
Main activities
MFT Projects
* Manage projects within the MFT framework, including project planning and reporting to the CSG leader.
* Oversee financial adherence.
* Support and contribute to deploying the commodity strategy, utilizing market intelligence and Airbus's procurement policies.
* Contribute to company cost improvement programs like MOVE, A350XWB RC2020+, and A330 by identifying opportunities, establishing roadmaps, coordinating activities, and negotiating agreements.
* Supervise and support Transfer of Work (ToW) activities for markets and suppliers.
* Coordinate the availability of commercial and contractual elements to enable project success.
* Manage supplier risks related to financial stability, strategy, or monopoly, and define mitigation actions within the MFT framework.
Suppliers Selection and Negotiations in MFT Projects
* Develop and maintain key supplier and stakeholder relationships.
* Lead the Call for Tenders process, ensuring business needs are met, and coordinate supplier selection and reporting.
* Negotiate contract terms and conditions, including change management, with support from the contract manager.
* Conduct supplier contractual review meetings and support supplier development initiatives.
* Define development targets such as cost reduction, quality, and delivery performance.
* Participate in regular supplier reviews and assessments.
* Ensure consistency between contract terms and SAP system data.
Enablement and ConBid
* Ensure key Airbus subcontractors can procure against Airbus contracts using the Enablement process, in line with PMM policies.
* Manage end-to-end Aluminium ConBid, including demand monitoring, demand allocation optimization, change analysis, and contractual breach mitigation.
Outputs
* Supplier selection through tender processes.
* Project review reports and meeting minutes.
* Contracts negotiations, validation forms, and commercial agreements.
* Senior Management Review (SMR) reports with key suppliers.
* Savings project reports and business cases, such as MOVE and A350XWB RC Convergence.
