Salary: £29,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements: Demonstrable technical understanding of Cisco ISE, ASA, Meraki, and Umbrella Skills in Cisco switches, routers, and Meraki devices Proficiency in maintenance and firmware upgrades Knowledge of Infrastructure Security, network management tools, MPLS, SD-WAN, VPN, and routing protocols Experience with data, network, and transport layers, including IPV4/6 and TCP protocols Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to analyze trends in network performance and develop proactive solutions Willingness to participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours support Responsibilities: Act as the Customer Technical Advocate for Corporate LAN Network Provide technical solutions, design architecture, and support for modern networks Address and progress issues escalated via the NRTS/Highways Technology Service desk/NOC Update and document Service Requests on a Remedy system Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota for support Maintain up-to-date product and technology knowledge Escalate product defects to relevant divisions or third parties Attend customer meetings to build relationships and manage conflict Advocate for customers during system outages and impairments Ensure compliance with KPIs to maintain customer satisfaction Synchronize communication between Technical Support teams, NOC, and customers Facilitate proactive maintenance to prevent issues in the customer network Conduct network performance analysis to resolve service-related issues Manage service migration MOPs, network upgrades, and stakeholder communication Notify potential operational issues in a timely manner Analyze event information for trends indicating performance degradation Support the Problem Resolution Manager with trend analysis Attend Tier 1 & 2 National Highways Corporate sites as required Technologies: Cisco Firmware Support LAN MPLS Network Security VPN Architect More: At Telent Technology Services Limited, we are a leading technology company specializing in designing, building, and maintaining the UKs critical digital infrastructure.
