WPRG have an opportunity for HGV Driver Class 1 Drivers to work on a temporary ongoing or temp to perm basis for our client based in Dagenham - Essex.
Deliveries to various stores around the south of England in a class 1 vehicle
* Long distance driving
* Trunking
* No Handball
* Start times vary between 02:00 - 04:00 or 15:00 - 20:00pm starts
* Average 12 hours each shift
* Assessment is required (Theory Test and Short Drive)
* All drivers must be presented appropriately and require a good level of English skills due to the nature of the job.
* Weekend work (Saturday and or Sundays)
Pay Rates (PAYE including holiday pay) for HGV Driver Class 1.
* Saturday:£22.53 ph
* Sunday: £23.81 ph
* Bank Holiday: £28.95 ph
* Minimum 9hrs guaranteed pay per shift
You must fulfil the following for this HGV Driver Class 1 position:
1. Hold a Valid UK Driving Licence
2. Holds a Digital tachograph card
3. Holds a CPC card
4. No more than 6 points for insurance reasons
