We are seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to handle maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems, including service, repairs, and troubleshooting of split AC, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps. The role may also involve working on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multideck, or ice machines.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various manufacturer equipment from brands like Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Knowledge of installation designs, manufacturer troubleshooting procedures, and the ability to seek technical support independently are desirable. Accurate and timely documentation of all work, including inspection reports and remedial actions, is essential.
Applicants must possess a full current driving license and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota. The role requires manual tasks such as manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces. Good verbal and written communication skills are important, including proficiency with handheld devices (PDA). The candidate should be self-motivated, solutions-oriented, capable of working independently, and enjoy teamwork.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a Maintenance or Facilities Management environment and hold relevant qualifications such as FGAS & ODS regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ, or equivalent. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of work is also required. Training and development opportunities, including internal promotions, will be provided.
