SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Solihull
Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm) – Immediate start
£105 – £120 per day
Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference?
We’re working with a welcoming primary school in Solihull seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with additional needs. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with the potential for long-term placement.
The Role:

Providing consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD needs
*
Implementing behaviour and emotional regulation strategies in line with the pupil’s support plan
*
Supporting academic progress, confidence, and social interaction in and outside the classroom
*
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure joined-up support
*
Promoting independence and engagement through positive reinforcement and structure
What We’re Looking For:
*
Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, or ADHD (essential)
*
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
*
Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting additional needs
*
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
*
A passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
