About the role
You will report to the Chief Technology Officer and be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery across various digital and software products. The business aims to modernise and evolve, and this role is crucial in turning those ambitions into operational reality.
You will act as the link between product, engineering, and internal stakeholders, aligning strategy with delivery. You will leverage your experience to embed efficient delivery practices, influence stakeholders, and challenge the status quo with a mindset of continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
* Driving efficient, predictable delivery across product teams through structured planning and process optimisation
* Collaborating closely with product managers and engineering leads to ensure delivery aligns with customer outcomes
* Championing agile and iterative methodologies to foster a culture of delivery excellence
* Supporting cross-team initiatives to enhance delivery and operational practices
* Leading change and improvement projects with autonomy and initiative
* Promoting internal collaboration and maintaining open communication across teams
What we are looking for
* Significant experience in software delivery, product operations, or programme delivery leadership
* A delivery-focused mentality, ensuring smooth engineering operations
* Strong understanding of agile, iterative, or lean software delivery environments
* Experience working in or with a software house is essential
* A clear understanding of good product management and software delivery practices
* A proactive mindset to identify opportunities, drive improvements, and implement change
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders and bridge technical and non-technical teams
* Experience with private equity-backed organisations is advantageous
