Job Description:
HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that aims to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having made significant progress over the past two years through various successful projects to increase manufacturing capacity and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While the role is multi-site, there is a critical emphasis on not only HSE oversight but also hands-on responsibility across all Health and Safety aspects.
The manufacturing environment requires previous experience with radiation and/or radioactivity. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be tasked with developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
This position is based remotely and not tied to a specific facility. However, travel within the UK is expected approximately once a month, with a car or car allowance provided.
Initially, in the first 6 months, three days on-site at a South-East facility in Surrey will be required to address immediate challenges.
For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.
Key Experience:
* Established HSE professional with hands-on experience
* Experience in radioactive settings (not limited to pharmaceuticals)
* IRR17 experience and radiological risk assessment expertise
* Practical approach with the ability to engage with all levels of the business
