Department: Training Location: Oxford Campus Compensation: £55,000 - £60,000 / year Description The Training Delivery Manager (TDM) is responsible to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for ensuring student training is delivered according to Leading Edge Aviation’s processes and procedures and in accordance with relevant National Approvals Authority (NAA) regulations and assisting in other projects within Leading Edge. The role focus is on effectively maintaining the flow of students across all elements of Leading Edge, managing the prioritisation of individual students when needed, and ultimately ensuring students complete their training within agreed timescales. Utilising strategic modelling tools, the TDM will oversee and advise as to required resources to complete training within those timescales. The Training Delivery Manager is a key member of the Management Team, providing effective management across the Company whilst fully supporting the Senior Leadership Team. This role within Leading Edge requires a dynamic, innovative and forward thinking individual to really grow the role and provide the outputs and functionality required with the growing number of students in training This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, based at our Oxford Campus. Some home working may be possible. Role Duties Student Progress To ensure all students progress through training in a seamless manner completing their training within agreed timescales. Liaising across departments to ensure smooth progressions across areas – from sales into Ground School, Ground School into Flight School, from Oxford to Alhama (and vice-versa). Ensuring that as students' approach tests, they are prioritised and when needed external agencies are applied to for tests in line with regulations. Identify any student training pipeline blockages and offer solutions alongside other stakeholders. Resource Modelling To utilise Aeroplanned as the strategic resource modelling tool. Be responsible to ensuring it is kept up to date, directing nominated area owners to provide regular inputs (at least weekly) into the tool. Provide outputs from the tool as required or directed across the business. Utilizing it as a tactical tool to direct resources at students or courses as required Leadership and Administration To attend all administrative and management meetings as directed and required. To liaise with all other internal stakeholders involved in student progression. Liaise with external agents, such as Airlines, in updating planned student completion dates and other information as required. To lead the weekly Student Progress Meeting at which all components of the business are involved to ensure all are aware of students’ progress and to manage deficiencies when needed. To attend open days and events as requested by their senior manager. Additional Responsibilities To assist in identified projects that align with the holder’s experience and capabilities. As a member of the Management Team participate in meetings and support peers across the business. Demonstrate and uphold the company’s core values in all actions, decisions, and interactions. Capable of working in Enterprise IT system and bespoke software solutions. Good report writing skills. Other requirements: Strong IT and systems skills.
