As a netball coach, you’ll be highly motivated and committed to engaging and inspiring pupils of all ages and abilities within a safe setting. Providing a fun, friendly, and encouraging environment, you’ll pass on your knowledge to help improve pupils' netball performances whilst teaching fundamental skills. You’ll get great satisfaction seeing pupils progress and develop. Our netball coaches are part of our junior brands division, delivering sports courses to children; nationally, over 120,000 children attend our courses. Your UKCC Level 2 or above qualification will enable you to deliver high-quality sessions across various levels, abilities, and age groups, from children to experienced adults.
What you’ll do:
1. Deliver a well-structured netball programme focusing on progression and development.
2. Provide high-quality coaching sessions.
3. Improve the level of coaching and increase participation in the programme.
4. Be aware of pupils' individual needs and circumstances.
5. Maintain a positive image of the Centre by providing a welcoming, helpful, and professional service.
6. Set up equipment.
7. Deal with customer queries.
What you need:
* A strong focus on customer service.
* Passion and engaging personality.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Coaching qualification (Level 2 or higher).
* Experience coaching in a community setting.
