Job description
King’s Group Academies is seeking an exceptional classroom teacher to start on 1 September 2026 at King’s Academy Ringmer. The successful candidate will join our Trust at an exciting time of growth and development. As part of a dedicated team across our schools, you will play a vital role in delivering high‑quality teaching and learning, supporting students to achieve their full potential, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.
Key responsibilities
* Support and work with students with a low reading age.
* Work with students with complex needs.
* Lead on the delivery of literacy for students.
* Advise and support LSA’s in working with individuals and small groups.
* Organise and prepare resources for literacy support.
* Work in liaison with the SENCO and the Head of English to develop programmes of support.
* Mentor a group of students or specific individuals.
* Assist SENCO with the design and preparation of resources and materials for teaching; organise resources and records.
* Support and inclusion of disadvantaged students.
* Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
* Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
* Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
* Share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
