Salary: £168.89 - £235.89 per day (Depending on QTS/Experience)

Are you an inspirational SEN Teacher looking for a new challenge in Blackpool?
We are seeking a resilient, creative, and passionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist school in Blackpool. We support pupils with ASC (Autism) and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.
We welcome applications from both Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) and highly experienced Unqualified Teachers or Instructors who have a proven track record in special educational needs.
Your Role as an SEN Teacher
* Curriculum Delivery: Planning and delivering highly personalised lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with ASC and SEMH.
* Behaviour Management: Utilising trauma-informed practice and positive reinforcement to manage complex behaviours.
* EHCP Implementation: Working closely with the SENCO to ensure Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets are met and reviewed.
* Nurturing Environment: Creating a low-arousal, safe classroom space where pupils feel secure enough to learn.
* Collaboration: Leading a team of Teaching Assistants and Support Workers to provide holistic care for every child.

* Experience: A deep understanding of ASC and SEMH teaching strategies.

* Qualifications: QTS/QTLS is preferred, but we will consider Unqualified SEN Teachers with significant specialist experience.
