Sheffield Business School is seeking an Impact Researcher.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in qualitative and quantitative research methods, managing secondary data including spreadsheet modelling, producing research reports, and related activities.
You will work on diverse impact case projects and support broader research initiatives to foster a strong research culture. This role requires a flexible approach and multi-tasking skills. We are particularly interested in applicants from a business background such as logistics, tourism, or urban regeneration, though applicants from other disciplines with strong research experience are encouraged to apply.
The main purpose of the Impact Researcher role is to build on the work from the recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) by researching, preparing, and demonstrating the impact of our research for the next REF cycle. This includes supporting REF impact case development, outputs, and their subsequent impact.
