Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join one of our valued clients based in Newham. This is a full-time role starting after half term and this would be for the full academic year.
You will be teaching General Science across Key Stages 3 & 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire creativity, build confidence, and support student progress. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, contribute to the wider life of the school, and support students with varying abilities.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (applications welcomed from ECTs)
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education
Ability to create inclusive, engaging, and differentiated lessons
Good classroom and behaviour management skills
Commitment to student achievement and well-being
