East Dunbartonshire are embedding the Promise, UNCRC, GIRFEC and the new Child Protection Guidance into the trauma informed service we provide to the children and families in our area. The Safe and Together Model is being embraced and rolled out across the Local Authority.
As part of the Whole Family Wellbeing Fund we are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Social Worker to work within our Children’s & Families Fieldwork Team. You will be part of a team and culture that is committed to improving outcomes for the children and young people we work with. Your role will be based around early intervention and response to wellbeing concerns, including providing professional advice and guidance to education colleagues, individuals, families, and groups within the community. Within term time you will be linked with a local secondary school and associated primary schools at a point of transition.
