Job Description
Are you an experienced Tutor seeking a new challenge? Do you want to make a positive impact on the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)?
A SEND school in Newcastle Under Lyme is urgently looking for a positive, enthusiastic Tutor to start immediately. You will work with students who have SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviors, so strong behavior management skills are essential. The role involves working with students in their homes, supporting core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.
The school caters to students aged 11–16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education or are awaiting placement in a suitable SEN school. As a Home Tutor, you should have a good standard of education and the ability to identify areas for improvement during 1:1 sessions.
