A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Colne is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The Role
You will:
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to maximise outcomes
* Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to learning
* Create a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Proven experience working with pupils with SEN, ideally within a primary school setting
* Strong understanding of SEND provision and inclusive teaching practices
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
