The Role:
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead by example
* Act as a role model and mentor for care staff
* Support and guide colleagues to develop their skills
* Provide personal care and emotional support to residents
* Administer medication safely and accurately
* Complete care plans, assessments, and maintain accurate records
* Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing for residents
* Assist with meals, activities, and social outings
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
What we’re looking for:
* Experienced in care with leadership qualities
* Compassionate, reliable, and committed
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
* Must be flexible to work both Day and Nights Shifts.
* Work well and “get stuck in” with the team
* Excellent communication skills
* Demonstrate determination and resilience
* A positive “can do” attitude
* Flexible to cover shifts when required – Our homes operate 7 days per week, 365 days per year
* Can build good, credible relationships with staff, residents and their families
