Reports to Senior Client Advisor Department
Key responsibilities
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparation of management reporting
• Preparation of CIS returns
• Preparation of statutory reporting
• Year-end opening balance adjustments
• Preparation of Corporation Tax returns
• Company secretarial services
• Data processing - including utilising systems to streamline processing
• Reviewing work from a Client Assistant prior to publishing this within Xero or relevant accounting system
• Go to person - for initial client queries
• Software support for clients
• Xero and app setups/training
• Budgets/forecasts with clients
• Assist with administration
• Training Client Assistant role
• Ad hoc projects General responsibilities
• Managing client’s expectations and delivery up to date nancials on time, every time
• CPD and ongoing training
• Ensure con dentiality of sensitive client data
• Direct communication with clients
• Working with other team members in order to meet deadlines
• Identify opportunities to improve/streamline internal processes
• Technology expert - ability to train others on accounting systems and add-ons

• Good accounting knowledge
• Use of IRIS, Xero, Excel preferable but not essential
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English
• Previous experience within an accounting practice preferable (1-2 years)
