CNC Turner / CNC Machinist CNC Machining & CNC Turning
Location: Esher, Surrey
Rate: up to £44,600 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 39 hours per week + overtime

An established and highly regarded precision engineering and CNC machining business is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner / CNC Machinist to strengthen their CNC machining team in a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist with a strong background in CNC Turning and CNC Lathe work to join a stable, well-run business producing high-quality precision components for technically demanding industries. You will be working in a clean, well-equipped environment alongside other experienced CNC Machinists, programming, setting and operating modern CNC Lathes and playing a key role in the full CNC machining process.
The Role CNC Turner / CNC Machinist:
Programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes (Haas) using G-codes
Offline / CADCAM programming is a MUST (OneCNC preferred, but any CADCAM software considered)
Producing precision components through high-quality CNC Turning
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Working to tight tolerances in a precision CNC machining environment
Taking jobs from concept through to completed part
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Machinist
Strong background in CNC Turning and CNC Lathe machining
Experience programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes
Offline / CADCAM programming experience is essential
OneCNC experience preferred, but other CADCAM packages considered
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
Confidence working to tight tolerances within a precision CNC machining environment
Hours & Pay:
39 hours per week
£17.00 £22.00 per hour, depending on experience
MondayThursday: 8:00am 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am 1:00pm
Overtime paid at 1.5x after 39 hours
