You'll play a pivotal role in their finance department, helping to ensure smooth operations while working alongside talented professionals in a supportive environment.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\nAs an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:\n\nPurchase Ledger Management: Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing payment lists.\nExpense Processing: Handling company card and personal expenses with precision.\nAccount Query Resolution: Addressing queries related to both accounts receivable and payable.\nClient Communication: Engaging with clients and suppliers on a daily basis to foster strong relationships.\nSales Invoicing & Credit Control: Assisting with the processing of sales invoices and supporting credit control functions.\nMonth-End Processing: Contributing to month-end reconciliations, journals, and other financial tasks.\nInter-Company Processing: Managing inter-company transactions efficiently.\nFinance Inbox Management: Monitoring and responding to queries in the finance inbox.\nVAT Reconciliations: Assisting with VAT reconciliations and consolidations.\nAd-Hoc Duties: Taking on additional tasks as required to support the team. \n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nTo thrive in this role, you should possess:\n\nProven Experience: A solid background in a Finance position is essential.\nFinancial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting.\nCommunication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.\norganisational Skills: Highly organised and capable of meeting strict deadlines.\nAutonomy: Comfortable working independently while supporting the team when needed.\nTechnical Proficiency: Experience with Sage and Microsoft Excel is a must.\nIndustry Experience: Background in a similar-sized business preferred. \n\nPerks of the Job:\n\nCompany Pension: Secure your future with our excellent pension plan.\nSupportive Environment: Work alongside friendly professionals who are passionate about what they do.
