Salary: £34,452 - £40,501 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 30 per week, 39 weeks sessional
Westfield Secondary School is looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Pupil Support Officer. The successful candidate will need to be educated to SVQ Level 7 and be capable of planning flexible programmes of interventions that meet the specific needs of all learners across wellbeing areas. They will also need to prepare PSO’s to deliver, quality‑assure, and provide evidence of impact.
Westfield Secondary School is a non‑denominational additional support needs school for secondary age learners with a wide range of social, emotional and complex learning needs. The school provides a nurturing environment in which attainment and achievement are supported through positive relationships and high levels of personalisation.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of these pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
