We are looking for a STL Senior Engineer to join our Skanska Technology team in
What you'll do:
1. Apply sound engineering principles and produce designs to relevant standards.
2. Prepare clear calculations, reports, drawings, and deliverables.
3. Use BIM-led workflows and tools like STAAD Pro, FEM/Autodesk Robot.
4. Plan and implement projects to meet time and cost targets.
5. Organise tasks, people, and resources; prepare and control budgets.
6. Ensure compliance with internal quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
7. Provide technical training and mentoring; brief and coordinate team members.
8. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and supply chain to define objectives and build strong relationships.
What you'll bring to the role:
9. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
10. Strong motivation and people-management skills.
11. Practical knowledge of Eurocodes and UK codes; able to mentor others.
12. Willing to work at other UK offices or client sites short-term.
13. Able to attend site and agree buildable solutions under tight deadlines.
14. Hold a UK/EEC driving licence.
