Job Description
* Oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods
* Maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse
* Manage a team of warehouse staff, ensuring efficient processes
* Implement operational policies to increase efficiency
* Regularly review workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met
* Develop and maintain detailed procedures for logistics processes
* Manage stock control systems and ensure they are updated accurately
* Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
The Successful Applicant
A successful Warehouse Manager should have:
* Exposure within Manufacturing Logistics
* Proven experience in managing warehouse operations
* Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases
* Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
* Strong decision-making skills and a problem-solving attitude
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external parties
* Commutable daily to Westbury Wiltshire
