Warehouse Operative- Coldstore (Nights)
Warehouse Operative shifts patterns: Monday to Friday - 22:00-06:00
£16.65 per hour (Inclusive of Shift Allowance) + Bonus + Benefits
apetito's continued expansion means we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to work in our Coldstore freezer Warehouse. You'll be trained to use our voice picking system to pick orders for care homes, hospitals and education settings as well as products for our sister-brand Wiltshire Farm Foods. We work to strict delivery deadlines so being efficient and able to meet deadlines is really important. We provide all the PPE to keep you warm and safe in the freezer, which runs at -23 degrees. We're a friendly and dedicated team who work hard to get orders ready and loaded for delivery to our customers!

Responsibilities
* In loading stock for bulk storage.
* Picking and assembling orders in our coldstore which is -22/25 degrees with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
* Replenishment of Empty pick locations.
* Loading Vehicles for delivery.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in all areas.
* Reporting of issues such as Health and Safety concerns, stock quality problems, and mechanical breakdowns.
* Ensuring frozen product is placed under minimal exposure to ambient temperatures.

Essential:
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment
* Good team working
* Able to work to deadlines
* Comfortable working under pressure to meet the demands of a high speed and high frequency factory ‘picking’ environment
* Willing to learn new skills
* Open and honest
* Reliable
* Flexible and adaptable to take on tasks as needed
* A “can do” approach
Desirable
* Temperature controlled warehouse experience
* Experience of SAP/Voice picking systems
