The projects are varied & engaging and the business has developed a real reputation for quality. Through this they have made strong relationships with a blue chip client list with the majority of work secured by way of repeat business, providing a stable and consistent pipeline.
Due to planned growth they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Glasgow.
The role will include
* Full commercial management of projects up to £30 million
* Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
* Valuations, variations and final accounts
* Working closely with site and project teams to drive commercial performance
* Reporting into senior commercial management
About you
* Proven experience within general contracting across a range of projects
* Degree in Quantity Surveying/Equivalent
* Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
