Coordinator – Student Support Team
The Student Progression Coordinator will support all aspects of delivering an elite student experience, including events management, onboarding, system development, case management and resource development. The role requires out‑of‑hours work during student events.
Key Responsibilities
* Be a reliable, approachable, and accessible point of contact for the student community.
* Ensure, alongside the Student Support Manager and relevant EIT teams, that benefits are dispensed efficiently according to policies and agreements.
* Oversee the Student Management System (Salesforce), ensuring accurate, up‑to‑date records.
* Facilitate the logistics of students’ phased transition through Oxford.
* Lead on planning and facilitating year‑round student activities and events both within and outside Oxford to promote wellness, fun, and bonding.
* Research opportunities and avenues to enhance student experience, creating resources and signposting additional assistance when necessary.
* Triage behaviour and safeguarding concerns, escalating issues promptly and assisting with resolutions in compliance with policies and procedures.
* Line manage the Student Support Administrator, providing guidance and supporting professional development.
* Assist the Student Support Manager as necessary.
Requirements
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Highly organised and personable.
* Strong verbal and written communication with exceptional interpersonal skills.
* Experience in running successful events frequently.
* Passion for embedding wellness within communities.
* High level of cultural understanding; able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Technically proficient; confident learning new systems, excellent MS Office skills.
* Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment, meeting deadlines.
* Reliable, resourceful, and detail‑oriented.
* Collaborative style, with a commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Experience working in a fast‑paced environment with adaptable skills.
* Experience communicating with students and/or young people.
* Good understanding of the University of Oxford.
* Salesforce experience.

Terms of Appointment
You must have the right to work permanently in the UK and be willing to travel as necessary. You will live in or be within easy commuting distance of Oxford and can commit to being on site for at least 3 days per working week, sometimes more during busier periods. Longer hours and multi‑time‑zone coverage may be required during peak periods.
