Join our dynamic central HSEQ Team as a HSEQ Compliance Auditor and play a vital role in ensuring safety and compliance across our contracts! Reporting to the contract’s HSEQ Lead, you will be the champion of compliance, promoting awareness and addressing any issues that arise. Your mission? To foster a culture of safety and excellence throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct Site Audits: Review risk assessments and ensure safety policies are followed across all contract sites.
* Coaching & Support: Provide guidance to staff on HSEQ policies, procedures, and safe work systems.
* Reporting: Generate detailed reports summarizing audit findings, compliance levels, and recommendations for improvement.
* Liaison: Collaborate with external auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies to address non-conformities.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that enhance health and safety performance and best practices.
* Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive HSEQ approach.
* Leadership Support: Advise the leadership team on HSEQ matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal compliance.
* Compliance Reporting: Provide weekly reports identifying trends, KPIs, incident rates, and non-compliance issues.
* Regulatory Monitoring: Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including CDM Regulations and Permit to Work systems.
* Non-Conformance Management: Monitor and escalate potential impacts of non-conformances.
* Contract Reporting: Assist in the preparation of comprehensive contract and management reports.
Experience and Qualifications
* Essential Experience: Background in Vegetation Management and Highways.
* Arboriculture Knowledge: Experience in Arboriculture is a must.
* Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is essential for this role.
