Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop athletes of all skill levels. This role involves creating training programmes, leading practice sessions, and fostering a positive team environment that encourages growth and teamwork. All sessions are in primary and secondary schools.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual athletes and the team as a whole.
* Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all athletes receive proper instruction and feedback.
* Monitor athletes' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
* Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and collaboration among all participants.
* Organise and oversee competitive events, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.
* Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other stakeholders regarding training schedules, performance updates, and any relevant concerns.
* Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques, sports science advancements, and safety protocols.

* Proven experience in sports coaching with a strong understanding of various training techniques.
* Excellent teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
* Strong leadership qualities that inspire confidence and motivate athletes to achieve their best.
* Effective communication skills for interacting with athletes, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to assess individual athlete needs and adapt training methods accordingly.
