Location: Location: UK (London, Fareham or Swindon) – Hybrid

The opportunity:

As a Senior Auditor, you will work with members of the audit team across all aspects of an audit - working through sections of audit planning, scoping, assessing key risks, the design and operational control assessment, and developing reporting. You will collaborate with audit team members across Group Audit. Working with the audit team, you will develop a deep understanding of the business and its risks. You will co-develop high-quality audit approaches including leveraging Data Analytics, assess IT fundamentals and leverage GenAI. You will support reporting to provide key insights and influence stakeholders in the UK.

What will you be doing?

1. High Quality Audits: Support the delivery of the audit plan by completing your assigned audit work of exceptional quality, on time and with impact. Leverage Data Analytics and GenAI, assess IT fundamentals throughout the audit process.
2. Insightful Reporting: Contribute to drafting impactful issue summaries.
3. Build Strong Connections: Build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders during audits.
4. Foster a Learning Culture: Take an active role in your development in business technical, new world, and human skills, actively applying a growth and learning mindset.
5. Embrace New World Skills: Actively enhance your new world skills: Data, IT and GenAI. Recognize their importance in delivering optimal audit outcomes and future-proofing your skillsets.
6. Collaborate as One: Collaborate throughout audits with all levels to achieve the best possible outcomes on audit.
7. Uphold Ethics and Integrity: You will uphold and model the highest standards on ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.

What are we looking for?

8. Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or other relevant qualification (e.g., chartered accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent, MBA or equivalent).
9. Established expertise in Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance, demonstrated through a track record of delivering impactful outcomes.
10. Experience within complex, fast moving and international organizations.
11. Good understanding of audit methodology, Internal Audit Standards and internal control frameworks preferred.
12. Good understanding of the Financial Services Industry, preferably with experience of Life and/or P&C insurance processes and products.
13. Experience with and good understanding of new world skills (DA, ITGC and GenAI).
14. Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
15. Ability to work without close supervision and to take decisions autonomously, subject to verification.
16. Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself.
17. Fluent verbal and written English language skills.
