Are you a skilled, proactive, and highly organised professional with a passion for supporting education? Whitehall Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic School Business Manager to join our team and help drive the school’s operational excellence.
As the School Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and HR functions of the school. You will work closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body to ensure the smooth running of the school, enabling our staff to focus on delivering excellent teaching and learning to our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Oversee the school’s budget, ensuring financial stability and efficient allocation of resources.
* HR & Recruitment: Manage staffing budgets, HR processes, and recruitment for non-teaching staff.
* Facilities Management: Ensure the school premises are well-maintained and safe for staff, students, and visitors.
* Administration & Compliance: Oversee administrative processes and ensure the school adheres to all relevant policies and regulations.
* Strategic Planning: Contribute to the long-term vision of the school, supporting the Headteacher and governors in decision-making.
About You:
* Proven experience in a business or finance role, ideally in a school or education setting.
* Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with a range of stakeholders.
* Knowledge of financial management and budgeting in a school environment (desirable).
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a hands-on approach.
