We're pleased to be supporting a well-established global manufacturing & engineering organisation, now seeking an HR Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a varied HR role with exposure to both operational HR and support the team as they roll out a new HRIS system.
Reporting directly to the HR Director, you'll work closely with three HR Officers across different sites, supporting a number of UK business units within the group. This role offers a blend of 60% HR administration and 40% systems/project work, including involvement in the ongoing implementation of Dayforce.
Key Responsibilities
As the HR Assistant, your role will involve:
HR Administration & Employee Support
* Managing recruitment administration and supporting end-to-end hiring processes
* Coordinating onboarding activities and ensuring all compliance checks (including security clearance) are completed
* Handling day-to-day HR queries and supporting low-level ER cases
* Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring smooth documentation processes
Dayforce Implementation & Systems Work
* Supporting the rollout and configuration of Dayforce across the business
* Assisting with data input, validation and system testing
* Troubleshooting user queries and helping to embed new processes
* Playing an active role in wider project activity across HR and operations
* Dayforce experience is desirable but not essential

* Previous experience within an HR support or HR administrative role
* Tech-savvy, confident with systems, and keen to get involved in digital HR transformation
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* A proactive approach and the confidence to work across multiple business units
* Interest in developing broader HR and project skills across a global group
