Position – Project Manager
Location – Aztec-West, Bristol
Travel – Required at the office in Bristol 3 days per week and 2 days remote.
Arrangement – Staffed
Salary – £55,000 to £65,000 DOE

Within the TS&C Business Unit, the Technical Services Management Unit embeds skilled engineers into client organizations. Embedded personnel are NUVIA employees working under client direction to deliver project scopes, often in a hybrid capacity between client offices and NUVIA/home locations.
One such client is Sizewell C, which aims to provide reliable, low-carbon electricity to approximately 6 million homes over the next 60 years through the design, build, and commissioning of two 1650MWe EPR reactors. Embedded engineers at Sizewell C work directly within the project delivery team to ensure seamless integration across all development phases.
BPSS clearance will be required at basic level. Prior clearance will not be transferable.
We’re seeking a Project Manager (Technical Risk, Opportunities, and Resolutions Lead) to oversee the management of Sizewell C’s key engineering and technical risks and lead the resolution of complex technical topics.
Role description of a Project Manager:
1. Identify and engage with key stakeholders across our business, driving collaboration and ensuring seamless planning and mitigation coordination.
2. Focus on aligning mitigation actions, resolving technical challenges, and tracking progress.
3. Support from a wide stakeholder network to identify emerging technical topics and lead their resolution, managing key engineering and technical risks.
4. Act as a communication bridge between technical teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
5. Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, ensuring a structured approach to risk resolution.
6. Report to the Head of Transverse Technical and the Technical ROR Manager.
7. Champion alignment with Sizewell C’s strategy and ensure coordinated risk management.
8. Work collaboratively, demonstrating stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and requirements for a Project Manager:
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and senior leaders.
* Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
* Experience in large infrastructure projects.
* Background in civil or geotechnical engineering.
* Project management experience in relevant industries.
* Understanding of Risk Management processes.
* Effective communication in client-facing and contractor-facing situations.
* Independent work capability and proficiency in IT skills.
Desirable skills:
* Experience in the civil nuclear industry.
* Existing network within Hinkley Point C or Sizewell C.
