Job Summary:
Work independently or part of a team to engineering drawings in a multitude of disciplines such as:
· Bending, Forming, Fabrication of sheet and structural steel
· Use of hand tools i.e. drills, grinders, etc.
· Ability to tack jobs together using MIG or TIG welding
· Grinding
· MIG / TIG welding
· Manufacture of framework.
Key Responsibilities:
· Basic fabricating and welding
· Use of guillotine
· Use of brake press
· Use of plasma cutter / oxy acetylene torch / cutting
· Use of pillar drill / mag drill
· Manufacture of bespoke framework.
Requirements
· Time served Fabricator / Welder preferred
· Ability to manufacture from engineering drawings
· Ability to read drawings
· Sheet metal work
· Experience with fitting and assembly of complete machines
· Work well as a part of a team
· Good timekeeping
· Proven attendance record
· Own transport preferred.
