Senior Consultant - Part-Qualified and Transactional Finance
The Company
I’m working with a lovely, family-run business based in Folkestone, well known for its warm, supportive and collaborative culture. Following continued growth, they’re now looking to appoint an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to support the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function.
The Role
This is a varied, hands‑on bookkeeping role where you’ll take responsibility for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting compliance across the business. It’s ideally suited to someone who enjoys working closely with others in a friendly, close‑knit environment.
The role is part‑time across 3‑5 days per week, with flexibility around how those hours are worked.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records
* Processing supplier and customer payments
* Completing monthly bank and account reconciliations
* Preparing financial reports and assisting with budgets and VAT returns
* Processing payroll and maintaining payroll records
* Supporting general finance administration as required
Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role
* AAT qualified
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Experience preparing VAT returns and related reporting
* Confident communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
